Tampines GreenCourt runs along the length of Tampines Boulevard Park West. The housing estate has a total of four play areas, all situated on the rooftop garden of the car park. These include an Origami Rock playground as well as a Netted Tower playground.
Origami Playground at Tampines GreenCourt
With angular edges, the Origami Rock Tampines GreenCourt playground offers plenty of different climbing opportunities for kids.
Located in front of Blocks 634C, the origami-inspired Tampines GreenCourt playground is filled with nooks and corners that kids can have fun playing at.

Inside the green angular structure, there is a hidden purple slide. There can be reached by climbing up the slope using the hand and footholds within.
A swinging hammock can be found slung just beside this little structure.
There are more climbing equipment like cargo nets around the Tampines GreenCourt playground.
These encourage kids to explore and devise adventures as they make their way around the origami structures.
The many angular play structures provide more opportunities for kids to play hide and seek around the soft padded surface playground.
There is even a trampoline embedded into the floor of the playground.
This Tampines playground is similar to the ones that can be found in Jurong West Park and in Yishun at the 3G Nee Soon Park.
Toddler Playground at Tampines GreenCourt
There is a two other play areas that are more suitable for toddlers at Tampines GreenCourt. These are a short distance away from the origami playground.
The Tampines GreenCourt toddler playground has a climbing structure that resembles two towers or a castle keep.
This toddler playground also holds a little secret.
You may notice a QR code one of the structures. You can scan it to download a H.C. Andersen Tale Run app by Kompan.
This is a digital game that is based on the Hans Christian Andersen tale of the Ugly Duckling. While it is a bit ironic since most people head to the playground to escape devices, it is still an interesting option that you can find available. (By the way, we didn’t find the game as easy to play as we expected!)
Terraced Playground with Netted Tower
If you head over to Block 632B at the other end of Tampines GreenCourt, you will find a playground with netted play towers that young kids can enjoy!
There are several terraces that kids can go up and up. These have been demarcated with the green dashed lines to help young kids navigate the different terrace layers.
Small kids can crawl under a yellow netted bridge too.
Or they can balance across a narrow net bridge.
This playground can be found at 632A Tampines North Drive 2.
Fun at the Tampines GreenCourt Playgrounds
The Tampines GreenCourt playgrounds provides a space for kids of different ages to enjoy imaginative play.
Tampines is quite a hotbed of fun playgrounds. If you can liked the Tampines GreenCourt playground, you should check out the cactus playground just across the street at Tampines GreenDew or this other more challenging playground for older kids at Tampines Street 43.
