The Tampines GreenGlade playground features both high climbing elements as well as a lower set of play equipment to cater for different ages. Nestled amongst the tall apartment blocks, it is a fun spot for kids to enjoy some outdoor time in the neighbourhood.
Tampines GreenGlade Acorn Playground
Located next to Block 660 at Tampines GreenGlade, the children’s playground is anchored by a tall green play structure. The two-storey tall play structure features two orange and brown pods that have been designed to look like acorns suspended in mid-air.

Beckoning kids upwards, the acorns can be reached through an entry way at the base of the structure where a set of colourful hand and footholds provide some grip for those wish challenge themselves.
This entryway leads to the first and lower acorn pod.
The intrepid ones can venture even higher by taking the mesh wire bridge that has a slight upward bend and connects the lower acorn to the higher one.
From the very top, kids can take a long tube slide that arcs downwards back to the ground.
More Play Opportunities at the Tampines GreenGlade Playground
In addition to the tall acorn climbing structure, there are other types of play equipment at the Tampines GreenGlade playground.
A pair of swings can be found just beside the tall climbing structure.
Hopscotch squares can also be found at the playground.
There is also a lower playground set in front of Block 660C for younger kids who may not yet be able to climb up the tall acorn playground. This play structure even has little green mudskippers that kids can use as hand and foot holds to ascend up on to the platform.
Here, kids can play on a low structure where play platforms are connected by a bridge. There is a straight slide provides more fun for little ones.

The Tampines GreenGlade playground is one of the many fun playgrounds found around Tampines. It offers a variety of play opportunities, some that are more challenging that older kids can have a go at, as well as easier play structures that younger kids can enjoy too.
You can find the Tampines GreenGlade playground at Block 660 Tampines Street 64, which is the multi-storey car park. This is close the future Tampines North MRT Station.
