Tampines North Park is a green space that serves the surrounding residential neighbourhood. There is a rather large playground that provides an area for kids to have some fun. This neighbourhood space is also set apart because of the IPPT training space that is within the area.
Tampines North Park Playground
The playground is a fun and interesting one with play elements such as a bright yellow slide, some stairs and interactive boards. There is a climbing wall with holes for kids to climb across instead of walking across as one would on a bridge.

When kids get across from one end of the climbing wall to the other, they can play amongst the blue spheres as well as some platforms that kids can balance and jump across.
There is also a playground that is suitable for toddlers in the nearby area. The play area is designed to be lower to cater to the smaller build of toddlers and there are various graphics and a maze with a few windows.
Tampines North Park Fitness Corner
Opposite the Tampines North Park playground is a fitness corner. The exercise equipment is blue and red with a yellow shelter shaped like leaves. Here, one can do both upper and lower body exercises at their own time and pace.
Tampines North Park IPPT Training
For those who wish to have a more intense workout, the Tampines North Park has the unique feature of an IPPT training space. Here, visitors can practice typical IPPT exercises in an environment that has specific equipment.
There is a running track with a marked out circuit that has a start and finish marker in yellow and distance markers placed every 100m. One complete round of the circuit is approximately 400m and to achieve 2.4km, runners can complete six rounds around the circuit. There is also IPPT standards and scoring system that is applicable to the general National Service standards.
There is also a standing broad jump area and other equipment such as a pull up bars of different heights, a sit up bench and more. There are also multiple balance beams that can be used to practice for any obstacle courses.
