Pho Street is probably not a new name to many, especially if you enjoy Vietnamese food. We recently went to the newly opened outlet at Centrepoint to try their new Signature Pho Beef Combination with Premium Wagyu Sirloin Slices, featuring premium wagyu beef from Australia.
We started off with three of the drinks on the menu: Lemon Cooler with Peppermint and Basil, Passionfruit and Basil Mojito and an Iced Vietnamese Coffee (also served Hot). The Passionfruit and Basil Mojito was probably the most thirst quenching of the three, although the passionfruit taste was a little too faint.
Wagyu Pho at Pho Street
On the menu was the Signature Pho Beef Combination with Premium Wagyu Sirloin Slice. When we got the bowl of beefy goodness, we were pleased to find that it was loaded with ingredients such as the handmade beef balls, beef slices, shank, tendons and tripe.
We’d recommend this dish for diners who enjoy the more gelatinous parts of the cow, such as the tendons and tripe. The noodles were really springy and the broth had a good flavorful taste.

On the Side
We tried a variety of sides too. There was the Rice Vermicelli Wrap with Crispy Roasted Pork Belly. It was a nicely prepared and flavourful dish, however the assemblage fell apart as we lifted it up to eat, so remember to pop it into your mouth quick!
The Hue Prawn Sugarcane Skewers which were a tad dry for our liking, but props to Pho Street for their creativity in incorporating the sugarcane skewer, despite it not being the easiest to eat together with the meat.
We also had the Fresh Summer Rolls which were zesty, refreshing and generously stuffed with Prawn, Pork Belly & Fresh Herbs.
We finished off with dessert which was the three coloured dessert also known as Chè Ba Màu. Inside it was layers of Mung Bean, Lima Beans, coconut and green jelly – the Vietnamese version of our local Chendol.
These dishes will be available at Pho Street outlets and the Beef Pho available for a limited period from 3 April to 6 May 2019.
