Tengah is full of fun playgrounds and some new ones have sprouted up at Tengah Garden Vines. The Tengah Garden Vines playgrounds are made up of several play spots. One features a supersized red ant while another is inspired by a bee. Also at the Common Green, there is a mushroom-inspired playground where kids can have some fun.

On the rooftop garden between Blocks 238B and 237B, you will find a giant red ant playground.

The play structure invites kids to explore by climbing into the body of the ant. They can choose to either climb up the rope nets to enter via the head or to scale up into its abdomen at the rear.

Ant playground in Tengah

Two curved enclosed slides provide a way to exit the ant’s thorax so that they can do it all over again.

Play tower at Garden Vines

Just beside the giant ant, there is a play tower that kids can scale up. Making their way through the multiple tiers of the tower, they will find themselves at the top where another slide awaits.

Tilting game

One other play feature at this Tengah Garden Vines playground is a tilting game. By raising and lowering the round disc, kids can try to get the ball into a goal to score points!

Bee Playground at Garden Vines

Bee Playground at Garden Vines

Just a short distance away is a playground that is more suitable for younger children.

At first when you approach it, it may just look like a round little raised sheltered platform that kids can explore.

However, upon closer inspection, you will notice that there are a pair of wings sticking out from the top and a pair of eyes looking out from one side. It is a bee-themed playground.

There is a slide at the rear of the bee that takes the place of the bee’s sting!

This bee playground is more suited for younger children and it is equipped with various play panels and little flower shaped teeter totters for them to have some fun.

Swings at Tengah Garden Vines

There are also a pair of cute swings here. One allows young children to sit and swing facing each other while another is designed to accommodate them with their adult.

Common Green Mushroom Playground

Make your way down to the Common Green beside Block 237B and you will arrive at the Mushroom Playground.

This is a rather whimsical looking playground where hammocks are slung out under the caps of the blue-and-white mushrooms.

Rabbit structure

There are also blue rabbit structures around, including one that kids can climb.

Mushroom slide

Another whimsical feature here is the purple and blue mushroom slide.

Merry-go-round

Kids can also go for a whirl on a grey spinning spinner.

The mushroom playground is just one of several playgrounds that will available at the Common Green between Garden Vines and Garden Vale. Some of the playgrounds are still boarded up at the moment but we keep a look out for when they finally open.
