There are several train playgrounds in Singapore and most of them can be found in the West of Singapore. That could be because of the historical links between the western part of Singapore and the railways.

The granddaddy of all the train playgrounds in Singapore can be found in Tiong Bahru Park. The Tiong Bahru Park train playground is made up of an engine, three carriages and a caboose at the end. Elevated off the playground’s sandy ground, the wood-clad carriages and caboose trail behind the engine at an angle – as if about to derail. Walking inside is like walking through a fun house! It is one of our favourite outdoor playgrounds in Singapore. Find out more about the Tiong Bahru Park Tilting Train Playground.
Where: At the junction of Tiong Bahru Road and Lower Delta Road
Villa Verde Park Train Playgrounds
Villa Verde Park’s extension is home to two train playgrounds in Singapore.
The first is a train-inspired playground made up of a long red structure that looks like a train with various carriages lined up in a linear fashion. At the front of the Villa Verde Park playground is a yellow, low and gentle slide that looks like it could be a train’s cow catcher.
The second is a wooden train at the park’s nature playgarden. This set of balancing logs offers kids a chance for simple play amidst nature in the park. Get more details about Villa Verde Park and its playgrounds.
Where: At the edge of the Villa Verde Estate, next to the Pang Sua Park Connector
