Getting from Mandai Road to Woodlands Avenue 12
Upon entering from Mandai Road, the Ulu Sembawang Park Connector bends to the right. There is a slight rise in the path which opens up to a large, grassy open area to the east.
It is a rare place in Singapore where you can barely see a building on the horizon. This is also the location where people have been taking some epic sunrise shots. However, you would have to go early if you wish to catch the sunrise.
Beyond the picturesque spot, the Ulu Sembawang Park Connector has a long, straight stretch of road which passes by Lorong Lada Hitam on the right.
Towards the Woodlands end of the park connector, you will come to an MRT train depot and the Seletar Expressway. Here, the path skirts around the perimeter of the train depot before terminating at a traffic junction at the ramp where Woodland Avenue 12 joins the Seletar Expressway.
At Woodlands Avenue 12, you can take the Woodlands Park Connector into Woodlands. It is around 3.2 km from the junction of Woodlands Avenue 12 and the Seletar Expressway to Admiralty Park.
The Ulu Sembawang Park Connector is part of NPark’s Northern Explorer Loop. It also connects to the Mandai Park Connector, the Central Catchment Park Connector and the Mandai T15 trail.
