Toys “R” Us has unveiled its Asia Flagship store at VivoCity, offering a blend of toy shopping and interactive play experiences. To celebrate the grand opening of the Asia flagship store, Toys“R”Us is spreading the joy of play with the “Donate a Toy with Geoffrey” campaign running from May 21 to June 9.
A giant 2.8-meter 3D cardboard Geoffrey will be stationed outside Sephora Level 1, accepting donations of new or pre-loved toys (excluding soft toys and broken items). For every qualifying donation, Toys“R”Us will match it with an “R” branded toy, doubling the smiles delivered. Meet Mamee Monster & Indulge in Korean-inspired Cuisine
MAMEE Monster will make an appearance at Wong Fu Fu, a halal casual dining concept located at North Bridge Road. Apart from the chance to meet the mascot we all know from our childhood days, customers will have the opportunity to indulge in an array of tantalizing flavours specially created by Chef Faizul, Executive Chef from MAMEE Food Service Malaysia. We highly recommend the dishes, plus who can resist free-flow bubble tea with toppings! The kids set menu will also delight the little ones, with a MAMEE collectible and MAMEE snack.
MAMEE Monster will make its appearance at 2 pm and 6 pm at Wong Fu Fu, as well as on Sundays till 23 June.

Fukusa: Japanese Gift Covers from the Chris Hall Collection
For something different to do on Vesak Day 2024, the Fukusa: Japanese Gift Covers from the Chris Hall Collection at Peranakan Museum features over 80 fukusa, kimonos, and related textiles, exploring ideas of craft, trade, and exchange, and the act of gifting across cultures.
Visitors will be able to design their own digital fukusa at the end of the Special Exhibition Gallery and participate in embroidery crafts at the Exploration Zone. Children ages 7 and up, and the young at heart, can also pick up the Fukusa Activity Trail Pack containing ten activity cards to accompany them throughout the exhibition , where they will also get to learn more about the textiles displayed!
Sentosa Sensoryscape
If you have not yet paid a visit to the Sentosa Sensoryscape, use this Vesak Day as a chance to do so. Head down in the evening from when the ImagiNite experience comes alive from 7.50 pm to 9.40 pm to be mesmerised by the light projections and effects.
Orchids of Angkor Wat at Cloud Forest
Slipper orchids are among the 50 fascinating orchid species and hybrids of Cambodia showcased at Orchids of Angkor Wat at the Cloud Forest. This orchid display is an inaugural collaboration with the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Singapore. The orchids showcased at Orchids of Angkor Wat include species that are native to Cambodia, or hybrids that can trace their parentage back to orchids from Cambodia.
