The VivoCity playground has been around for more than 10 years but it is still the nexus of the family-friendly mall for many kids and families. With a variety of play areas and also known as the Play Court, it is a convenient spot for little ones to get outdoors and have some fun climbing, sliding and spinning all around.
VivoCity Playground Where Free Fun Awaits On Level 2
The VivoCity Playground is located at Level 2 of the shopping mall. The outdoor playground is in a courtyard that is surrounded by shops and restaurants. This makes it easy for parents to access the play area from many different parts of the mall.
Heading there from the huge VivoCity Toys R Us? You just need to cross the aisle to reach the outdoor playground.
The playground’s location next to the mall’s shopping areas means that even if you go there late in the evening, you don’t feel as if you are in a far off corner of the mall. In truth, you are right in the centre of it!

Play Hill at VivoCity Playground
One of the highlights at the VivoCity playground is its signature hill. Ever popular, you can expect kids to gravitate immediately to the hill. What has changed is that the hill now has a slide coming down its centre. As a result, this creates an endless flow of kids climbing up the hill and sliding down the slope.
Next to the hill around bouncy trampolines that are recessed into the ground. There are different size trampolines. There is even a huge one where multiple kids can bounce on it at the same time.
Cute turtle figures can be found beside the trampolines.
The VivoCity play area also has different seesaws for kids to play on.
More to Play at the VivoCity Playground
Red cocoon chairs, suspended from the ceiling, act as a divider to the next play area at the VivoCity playground. The unique spinning seats are a favourite for kids, providing dizzying fun for the occupants.
In addition to some teeter-totters, there is another play structure. Kids can crawl into the space at the rear of the red play structure where there are low hammocks and nets.
Or they can make their way down the slide at the front of the play structure.
A septet of large colourful figures look like they have been assembled for a council meeting just beside this second slide at the VivoCity playground.
Kiddy Rides at VivoCity
Besides all this free fun at the playground, it is also possible to rent a kiddy ride. Kids can hop on board and enjoy coasting about at the sheltered area within the outdoor playground.
These animal rides are operated by ZOOMOOV.
Baby Room
There is also a baby room found facing out towards the courtyard where the playground can be be found. It is designed to meet the needs of parents with several nursing cubicles, diaper changing stations and a waiting area. A wash basin and hot water dispenser are also available in the room.
The location of this amenity make it a breeze to take baby and toddler out to the free VivoCity playground.
