With an improvement to the haze situation in Singapore over the weekend, brought about by a change in the wind direction, waterparks have started to welcome back visitors.
Both Wild Wild Wet and Resort World Sentosa’s Adventure Cove Waterpark were temporarily closed last week due to the hazardous haze conditions in Singapore.
With the air clearing up over the weekend, Wild Wild Wet reopened for business on 23 June 2013 (Sunday) and Adventure Cove Waterpark is expected to reopen its doors from 27 June 2013 (Thursday).
On 24 June 2013 (Monday), Resorts World Sentosa’s Facebook page announced, “The haze has lifted and with clear skies expected to persist, Resorts World Sentosa has started to reopen our affected outdoor attractions.”

In addition to Adventure Cove Waterpark’s reopening, the nightly show Lake of Dreams has also resumed its performances. By the waterfront, the Crane Dance animatronic show will also be restarting its performances from Thursday, 27 June.
The current respite Singapore is experiencing from the haze is due to a change in wind direction and, even with the waterparks reopenings, both Wild Wild Wet and Resorts World Sentosa stated that they will continue to monitor the haze situation.
