The Woodland Spring vertical playground is fitted with slots that kids can make use of to climb into the orange play structure.
Once inside, they can make their way up along the orange ribbon to reach the upper levels of the vertical playground.
Up on the higher levels, there is also a cargo net section.
From the upper reaches of the vertical playground, kids can also take a slide to return back to the padded floor of the playground.
Diamond Shape Pattern Vertical Playground
One of the unique design feature of this particular WallHolla playground is that has diamond-shaped edges.
These protrude out from the side of the playground’s walls and it is a custom design.
The WallHolla playground was originally designed by the Dutch company, Carve, back in 2005. The original Wallholla was developed when the city council of Purmerend in the Netherlands invited Carve to design a new schoolyard area.
The space saving design found its way to Singapore several years ago and can be found in locations all around the island such as Bukit Batok, Simei, Tampines and other locations. It is useful by allowing kids multiple opportunities to play and climb while occupying a small footprint.
The Woodlands Spring playground was installed by playground company PlayPoint in 2021.
It can be found at 799A Woodlands Drive 60, Singapore 731799.
If you are around the area and looking for more playgrounds, we would recommend paying a visit to Circle Green Park.
